I have had a busy couple of weeks. It’s been nice to be out and about again.

1) worn to present certificates in my role as Chairperson of the Board for an athletics organisation. I wore the vintage 1974 Commonwealth Games shirt which the 91 year olds recognised - they are still sharp.
2) worn to get a haircut. I recreated this from a male instagram photo that I had seen.
3) dinner with friends. I wanted to wear my rediscovered heels and was in a rush. Sorry about the poor light.
4) an old favourite. Worn with new yellow Mules to a networking lunch.
5) a new dress. I wanted something that could work with sneakers or heels, for work or casual or low key evening. I was toying with two sizes and chose the larger to get length- but may get this taken in around the arms. I was keen on cobalt - but after looking in the mirror at myself in my lilac merino I realised how good this colour is for me. Lilac and green eyes really work together. I should have listened to my Mum.
6) worn to final assembly at school - my son has finished high school. I am definitely sad about it.

The yellow mules were a good choice for me- I am finding them easy to mix in with lots of my existing wardrobe.
