WIW: spring pastels on a cold day

The weather here is still quite cold and driving me batty. I really want spring to come! So my outfit is equally seasonally confused in terms of fabrications: wintertime cashmere sweater with a summery linen shirt. I was just trying to cheer myself up with some soft shades, hopefully I do not look like an Easter egg. All the suggestions are welcome as always! Blush cashmere sweater - Magaschoni, mint linen shirt - BR, white jeans - 7FAMK, taupe booties - Report.

Rest assured you do not look like an Easter egg! You look lovely in pastels, Tanya. Loving the white jeans, and the linen shirt totally works with the sweater.

Fresh, soft, and pretty! My cashmere stays out until May, I just put away the darkest and thickest. This looks perfect for "transitional" spring weather.

Very nice! I'm going crazy waiting for spring, too. Like you I've been mixing some spring and winter items. You don't look eastery at all, and the boots ground you and give some edge.

Thank you ladies! I like "Seasonal Fusion" so much better that "Seasonal Confusion".

The colors must have helped spring indeed, as today's expected high is 51 F (11 C). I think I might do another pastel outfit today to keep helping spring finally arrive

First off, I'm in total agreement with needing spring NOW!!!

I think the soft pastel colors hint at spring and the outfit isn't seasonally confused at all. In fact, I'm wearing the same sort of outfit today.
