A year ago I asked Rae to help me find a suit for an interview. Unfortunately I'd chosen the worst possible time. The Spring stuff was gone and the Anniversary Sale was a couple of weeks away. The shopping was grim until Rae pulled out a Halogen linen blend suit. With ankle pants! But it looked cute on, and I was desperate, and I figured in LA, in the social services, in July, ankle pants would probably fly. Plus the suit was quite inexpensive! I wore it to the interview and got the job, though I didn't know it till October.
Fast forward. Guess how many times I've worn it since. Right--zero. This week I decided to quit saving it. I wore the pants to work. Then I realized I could use the jacket for Angie's khaki ensemble! I don't have brown gladiators, so I ended up with the shoe that goes with everything.
1. to Church
2. to Farmer's Market, with the legs rolled up (per Angie's suggestion)
3. legs rolled down (for Aida)
