I wore my Zara kimono jacket (and brought my new BR clutch) out to dinner with friends the other night and felt happy and comfortable and even glamorous all night. My friends gave me lots of compliments on the jacket, and even my husband remarked on how nice l looked when I got home. And it struck me how very much I love the drape and fluidity of kimono jackets. I feel very like me in them....much more so than I do in more structured jackets (although structured jackets certainly are nice and have their place in my wardrobe).

In fact, I decided I loved kimono jackets so much that I went online that very night, found another one on Ebay, and promptly ordered it! This might have been a wine-induced shopping mistake....I'll let you know when it arrives Thursday!
