WIW skirt, cardi and purple / burgundy again

Today was colder, so wore a dark blue wool skirt, long cashmere cardi and simple accessories.

The skirt is actually Calvin Klein and was originally part of SAS (Scandinavian airline) uniform in the early / mid 80's it is shortened though.

Cardi
Wool / silk tank
Tights
Black booties
Vintage bag

#2 Bird pendant + inherited ring

#3 I was considering adding a belt, but was uncertain and left it behind. What do you think

Best use of an airline uniform EVER! Nice, easy, smart silhouette. And such beautiful vintage-style jewellery to go with the legacy bag.

This outfit reminds me of Claire's point in an older thread about two levels of visual interest in an outfit --- the cohesive, overall look as soon from some distance and the details you only notice on getting up close and personal with the wearer.

I like both! The belted makes it look like a cool robe. Unbelted looks more free. THey are both great looks!

thanks ceit and caro! that means i could go either way - depending on mood and work obligations. i think the belted version might be a bit more streamlined, slightly less boho, or?

I think the belt looks great on the outfit, but it also looks just a great without it. Like you said, it's a matter of being more streamlined or more boho. And your bird necklace is very cute!

Are you wearing tights with it? I think, depending on the weather naturally, you could lose the tights for a little lighter feel.

Thanks Kristin! I like your thoughts on bare legs, but I don't think I'll wear this skirt without tights. Mostly because I feel it is a bit too short and shows too much leg without hose, but also because of the wool material that to me says autumn/winter - and here it is way to cold without hose at that time
