WIW remixing cardi with jeans

I've always worn this cardi with skirts or dresses, but grabbed it this morning despite wearing jeans. I'm not so sure about the top, maybe it splits me in two or maybe it is too casual? Or both? I like the cardi, and I actually quite like the idea of wearing it jeans. The only thing I would change is to go for a longer and slightly looser layering top underneath.

I think it works with jeans, Harmonica. It's almost a column of colour or at least a tonal column, and it accentuates your waist.

I quite like it with the jeans too, Harmonica (I prefer the cardigan closed), and was also going to suggest trying it with a slightly longer top underneath.

I think the cardigan works well with jeans, but I agree with others that the layering tee could be longer. The cardigan has a nice shape and looks cozy.

I love the cardi, but to me it is a statement piece, so I want to keep the rest a bit simpler so that other pieces don't compete. The cardi is really cozy and I love how the collar warms my sensible neck

I agree that a longer tee would be better - I see it clearly now Both cardi and tee seems to hit at my widest part, instead of making an elongating column underneath. Can't believe I didn't see it myself, but that what's so great about getting feedback.
