WIW: python ON dress

Thanks to Diana, I ordered this dress for all of $14! I tried four sizes and kept two, S and M in regular, because I'm not sure how they will wash and I can wear as tunic or dress. What do you think?

It looks great! I really love it on you. The fit/comfort/style is so appealing too...was really planning to avoid the malls, but may need to make a trip to ON to try it, especially at that price point.

This is a M... It is quite loose but I wanted to be able to layer. The S also fits more like Diana's dress and is probably more flattering but I am a bit self conscious in it at the moment.

I think the shoulder/top fit is key for this dress. Una's shoulders are a lot stronger than mine. I actually kind of liked the fit of the L on me in the bottom half, but everyone was right that the top half was just falling off of me, so I went for M instead.

Thanks, Una and Diana, for chiming back in with the fit info. (Now I definitely need to try it, if it's IT-friendly, as my shoulders could fill out the average NFL lineman's jersey with no need for shoulder pads!)

Yes Diana nailed it. The M fits my shoulders and the rest of the dress fits more like a shift. In the S it still fits because of the stretch, but it is more of a sheath.

Love it! (So funny -- I also have this coming to my house in two sizes, to see if it's more of a tunic or a dress.) Is this the green color? That's what I got, because I think it will bookend a pair of suede wedge booties I have. Now I'm excited -- it looks so good on you!

So jealous that you can wear this as a dress. I tried an Old Navy sweater dress hoping to wear it to work... no such luck! And I'm only 5'7"ish.

From what I can see (urgh! lighting! computer monitors! double urgh!) it looks great. Nothing like a sheath styling on us ITs. I think this works particularly well because it has a curve built in, then you have your curvy, slender legs, then your heavy boots. It looks fab!

Ha! I also have this--my husband ordered it for me all by himself and it arrived just a few days before Diana posted about hers. I haven't had a chance to post a WIW yet but it's been worn a couple of times already.

Una, this suits you so beautifully and fits with your current wardrobe goals, as I understand them. What's not to love? You look sleek, tough and chic.
