Having fun with dressing up these days!

Playing with colour and texture…
Purple satin pants: Anthropologie
Rust silk shell: Theory
Fuzzy cardi: Zara
I love playing around with purple and earth tones…

Black lace top: vintage (60s?), thrifted (worn backwards; I didn’t like the buttons down the front)
Gold Pants: Luisa Cerrano, thrifted (new to me Italian designer - retail $400 and thrifted for $12!)
Sandals: Clark’s

This outfit is inspired by Brooklyn and her ‘blackened’ looks lately!

The colour palette in the first outfit is KILLER AWESOME on you. Earth tones are versatile Do you need to shorten the pants a little to make sure you don't trip over the hems?

@Angie - ha! I TOTALLY do. I was too lazy too but as you always say - they are a tripping hazard. I will likely shorten them to wear with sneakers

WOWZA, stunning! Your color palette in the first one is one I'd like to play with this fall, but probably reversed (rust on the bottom). Adore the mix of textures here.

And, I love your rendition of Brooklyn's blackened metallics. I love how you turned the top backwards because a top is NOT going to boss you around! The silhouette of that second outfit is a little bit reminiscent of a salwar kameez, no? -- speaking of inspiration from South Asian clothing.

Love the 'relaxed elegance' of #1 (to borrow the phrase from @Sal) - so swooshy but comfy! Is the cardigan a pale lilac? Nice way to do tonal without it distracting from the rich satin

I'm a little confused by photo #4 though - is that still the same satin pants as #1 but in daylight? What a colour shift if so - like a pretty chameleon

Look #2 is perfect for an understated glam event - maybe a holiday catchup or cocktail party? Could see it work well for an office holiday too

I had to look for inspiration for styling old old metallic pants I love the black lace. I like the fullness and length of your black top. I will look for something similar. Have you tried red or purple with the gold pants?
