Oh my gosh, you guys made me laugh so hard! Krista, I wore these all day - to the office, the bank, the post office, to pick up DS at school. They probably stand out but I feel so me in them that I don't feel consipicuous somehow. What's that about?

My son knows to fear the Billy Idol snarl. I had "White Wedding" in my head all day!

Suz, there is NO reason you couldn't wear this. Seriously.

The SO was next to Billy Idol in a public bathroom, standing at the urinals. He said Billy Idol is *tiny* (height-wise). Just thought I'd share that...

I'm so glad you went out in them - they are not exactly "stay at home and sit on the couch eating chips" pants - that would be wasting a fantastic outfit on an unfortunate activity.

And I wouldn't be questioning why you don't feel conspicuous - that's easy! You don't feel conspicuous because they are authentically you! And no one can argue with that!

Love! And I loved that jacket from the first second.

Oh. Wow. This is absolutely amazing! I seriously *love* this outfit!

You look so great! Punk is not my thing, but I really do love this on you. The jacket gives it that modern touch for sure - you are right that future purchases must live up to it!

This ranks up with the top two or three outfits that I've ever seen on YLF. So freakin' awesome I can hardly stand it! I don't know for sure what style this would be called - is it UWP? - whatever it is, I am *claiming* it as *my* style. Everything about this makes me smile - and pic #2 is the best pic ever!

This is one my favorite outfits on you Una. Love those pants, love the jacket. I want plaid pants!

Love it and have the same Tripps. Here with Marley who pointed it out. Theory loves Punk and vice versa.

Punk really suits you Una. This has more immediate resonance than UWP territory to me. This is so you. (I know, even though you coined the term UWP. Sorry.)

Fantastic outfit, Una-- and, you're the girl who can pull this off! *saluting in admiration*

Just to deconstruct this fab outfit in light of your other thread about statements and basics. What makes this outfit sing is that you have melded two divas, Theory and Punk, and supported them with a black top and boots (dare I call them "basics) into one fantastic vision. Those divas definitely hog the spotlight, but without the top and boots, would not work as well. And, if you had tried to throw in a couple of other divas instead of using the support players, the fireworks would have been seen all the way to the 49th parallel. Divas have to be handled with care--but you've done it!

didn;t care for plaid pants until I saw them on you. Just fabulous! Punk theory put into perfect practice.

Haha love the facials - Baycity Rollers eat your hearts out
