It’s gray and drizzly today but not cold, so it’s perfect for a jacket outfit. I’ve got on a leopard camisole, army green field jacket and black chinos, as well as glitter sneakers.
I also ordered the black Babaton coat that Gryffin recommended a couple of weeks ago. I concur on the quality, and I like the fact that there’s plenty of extra room in the shoulders for winter layering. I could see it as a good throw and go coat for many purposes. I wouldn’t say it’s the most flattering garment I’ve ever purchased.
I also bought two identical quilted cocoon jackets, one rose and one green, from JCrew. I hadn’t purchased anything from them in a while, because I found them to be in a bit of design and quality decline. These jackets were 40 percent off the other day and a very good buy. I had intended to choose just one, but I may keep them both.
I also picked up a plaid slip skirt that I wore yesterday and unfortunately didn’t get around to taking a selfie. I consider it a good purchase. (The JCrew finds are having an issue, so sorry I can’t include them.)
