DH and I had plans to meet a long ago work colleague of DH's for dinner at a nice restaurant last night. DH did planning for months to find a date that worked. I figured out what to wear. Work colleague lady and her DH went to the restaurant one night too early despite recent confirmation emails, and were by then unable to make the original date. Hey, mistakes happen. We rescheduled for three weeks out, and DH and I decided to still go and make it a date night. Then at the last minute DH wanted to attend a beer tasting at a local liquor store and then do dinner at a very casual nearby pub. The beer tasting was fun, although we were familiar with most of the local brews. New England is a mecca for locally brewed beer, so many you can't begin to keep track of them. Many are quite good, but very few have truly unique offerings. We did try some delicious locally made hard cider we will probably buy in the near future. We live in an apple growing area and lots of cider makers have been popping up lately.

So, back to my outfit...I decided to stick with my original plan. At the tasting event and pub dinner I was completely over dressed because I was not wearing the unisex uniform of sneakers/jeans/tees/hoodies or the occasional woman with booties/leggings/tee/hoodie. My leopard cross body bag was ESPECIALLY "dressy". I DID NOT CARE! LOL.

New plaid pants
Loafers bought last spring
Everything else from last year or earlier
