Hi Ladies,

This is my first public outing of my patterned pants. I am wearing them at work today (despite DH's raised eyebrow)

I am struggling a bit with tops to wear with these pants but to my eye this looked ok.
(maybe I need to go shopping!!)

Any suggestions, styling ideas, etc very welcome

I think it looks awesome! That top is the perfect one to wear with it if you want to be more toned down. For a more "look at me" style, you could go with a bright solid top. Or somewhere in between: a bright colored or neon pendant or bracelet.

Yes maybe you need to go shopping! May I join you?

Yes! So nonchalant and yet chic. The statement quality of the necklace keeps focus on your face, not just your legs. Something powerful up top to balance the energy of the pattern. Go do something fun!

Deborah, I don't know about you...racking up those K to the Power of Ks like nobody's business!

And no wonder. This is a fantabulous outfit.

But then, all your outfits are!

What I really admire about your style is its strong simplicity. It's ever-elegant yet there's a tensile power to it. Part of that comes from your preference for black/ white/ red/ cream (and of course they look so great on you; you can do this high contrast look and I envy you for it!) And part comes from your very careful choice of clothes and accessories. And all your clothes seem to marry so well together.

What's really amazing is that if I didn't know from your having told us that you are on the smaller side, I would imagine that you are a tall person. Ah-maz-ing!

Just kidding but I do think angle I take my photos at makes a difference, and I also suspect that these days my body is more in proportion with itself.

Susan, thank you and you are so funny. Given hubby doesn't like the pants, I think sleeping in them might be detrimental to our love life lol

Well the outfit got a good wearing today. Some unexpected running around for work, shopping at lunch time and parent teacher interview this evening. DH and Master 9 are still not sold on the pants but there were no more raised eyebrows:)
