We started our day at the boulangerie/bakery with baguette, brioche, cafe au lait and more (#3). Then we went to see the exhibitions at Musee de Orsay and Centre Pompidou. A wonderful experience for both of us. I particularly enjoyed seeing Renoir.

WIW (#1): Trenchcoat (BR), cropped pants (H&M), silk blouse and cami (Filippa K), snakeskin flats (Bianco), merino scarf, brown bag, umbrella. Hair done in a bun, the Parisian way;) Happiness factor: 9 out of 10, wishing the shoes were a tad more comfy.

What people are wearing: Lots of flats and trenches! Very few wear heels, but the shoes are pretty dressy. Skinnies or skirts with tights, nothing very surprising there. The hair is very often done in a rough bun, and they have nice bags. Scarves, lots of scarves, but not so much the European knot anymore, more soft styles.

What else? I bought a classic cashmere v-neck from Eric Bompard in navy, yay! A very pleasant experience to shop there, it was, and the price was good. Watching the sunset from Sacre Coeur, window shopping in Montmartre boutiques, having Tarte au Citron. Now off to dinner in a French brasserie - can't wait! I know how lucky I am.

Ramya, here's a iPhone-photo of the Eiffel tower by night, seen from Place de Concorde (#2). Most of my photos are still in my proper camera, but I hope you get the idea:)
