Amen, Ali!!!

And Kona is TOTALLy a model. This girl needs to be pulling her weight with bills...lol. Line up those dog modeling contracts. Look at those crossed paws. Glamour Shots! Getinmypocketcutedog!!!!!!

LOVE this silhouette and outfit Una! I would vote roll up or down one more on the jeans though (and lady! we need to find you some black booties!!).

I don't mind doing things alone, especially enjoy eating at little cafes alone, but as Heather said company just makes things nicer Also, yay Kona! Though NOW every time I see her, as graceful as she looks in this photo, all I can think about is the flower pot story you told us a while back *giggle*

Is it really cold enough for cashmere already in AK? I love the loose coolness of this whole outfit.

Laura, it was chilly yesterday. Today it's sunny and I'm actually in a tank and shorts now! So crazy.

Aida, I am on the hunt for some black booties. I love the Frye boots I have on today but they are so RATE I don't think they will go with the outfits I wear to work.

I love the sweater with these jeans. You look so comfy and yet still stylish. Can I add that I am a bit envious of not only the outfit but the date with yourself idea...before a became a mom I would not dare go out to eat, a movie etc on my own. Now I only half joke to my husband that my dream would be to go stay in a hotel by myself for the weekend, eat out with my ereader as a date, sleep in etc...a girl can dream.

Love the outfit and new sweater -- what a find!!! A Vince cashmere sweater is definitely one of my fantasy acquisitions.

Your dog is stealing my heart away, she looks very much loved. Thanks for sharing the picture.

I like the me time too When back in India every sat morning me and DH used to give each other me time now I have loads of it staying at home:)...

I like your outfit you rock the BF jeans...

Una please give Kona a hug from me... She looks adorable and dignified at the same time...

Love this And your dog is beautiful.

I love being alone - if I don't get enough alone time I really crave it. I know I'm an introvert, though, and lots of noise and stuff going on is too overwhelming for me a lot of the time. So doing stuff alone doesn't bother me at all. I also much prefer shopping alone - I can think then ...

Funny coincidence about being alone -- one of my friends on FB (college friend) was just on the brink of an anxiety attack because her husband and kids are all out of the house for a few days and she does not know how to be alone! She had no idea what to do with herself, so a bunch of us chimed in with suggestions of walks, bubble baths, chick flicks, reading, etc.

I can't imagine! I always have a million things to do, and some that I like having the house to myself for. I guess because I was single for so long (didn't marry until I was 37), I got *very* comfortable in solitude. In fact, I feel overwhelmed if I have too much time surrounded by too many people without a break. So funny how we all have different thresholds!

Plus, I always find that a few days apart makes us appreciate each other even more than we already do.

Denise, I can be on the lookout for one here if you don't mind pre-loved. One consignment store here turns up Vince sweaters all the time. This was $60 (of my consignment dollars!) and is like new. Srsly, just let me know. I can always post a pic here if I find something.

Love the outfit - so perfectly "Una"! And of course, Kona is absolutely adorable as usual.

I love LOVE going out by myself - it's very rare so I always appreciate it when I have some "me" time.

Una, you look super-fab!!!

I loved going out on my own and would like to have some of that me-time again so badly. Many years ago my first job took me to one European capital and I just loved my weekends then. On Fridays after work I'd go to dinner and movies (Matrix had just come out, I remember the madness), then on Saturdays I'd take hours-long walk across the city (best way to get to know a new place - walk walk walk) which I'd finish with warm drink and cake at one of my favorite coffee houses.
