Hi All

It's been a hectic patch and I have been busier socially than for a long time. I love parties and celebrating so I am happy about that.

Here are some recent looks (some repeats or close repeats)

WIW
Photo One- palazzo pants to the ballet and then a week later to dinner at a restaurant with friends. The tops are slightly different and I wore different shoes.

Photo Two - the blue floral was to a Regional Sports Awards night (I was supporting one of our clubs and athlete who were nominated) - as Board Chair. This felt very appropriate - I wanted to look smart and fun and professional but not like I was getting an award myself. The lilac was worn (on a wet day - note the rain on my dress) to lunch with girlfriends. I was experimenting with the lilac and tan.

Photo Three - the pleated dress has been patiently waiting another wear (18 months in the closet). I wore this to hear Sport NZ CEO speak at a seminar last week. And the black dress is new, it's a casual dress to wear at the beach or at home on hot days. It' s going to be good on vacation or at the height of summer.

Photo Four- out to lunch with family - the hat makes another appearance. I liked this in reality but think it looks a bit boring in the photo. This blouse is pretty but it doesn't get a whole lot of wear.

Photo Five- the lilac dress again with yellow accessories. I have had the bodice altered to make it a better fit in the bust. Worn to a Christmas family lunch. And the blue top and skirt include all the same yllow accessories - worn to another lunch as a thank you for my work on the board

I am trying not to shop for clothing for myself until after Christmas - my last purchase was the 1st of November. But I am considering a new hat at some stage when I find one..I love my current one but think having a second one could be fun too. It hasn't been very hot and I have summer options I haven't pulled out yet so I am not that tempted with shopping.

And I am taking five weeks off work from the 23rd December to early February. It is time - it's not long service leave officially as it's our company but it's kind of like that.

Thanks for your advice and thanks for looking!
