Hi Girls,

Today was a public holiday in remembrance of Anzac Day.

Stayed at home, did some housework and took Master 9 and a friend to McDonalds for lunch.

Thought it might be fun to share a stay at home outfit as most of my WIW's are going to work or out and about days

Black T-shirt dress
Ink blue high low sweater top
Black leggings
Short lace up boots
Ink blue scarf (added when we went to lunch)

It was a beautiful cold day here today

Sweet! I love dark blue right up next to your pretty face - it's softer than black and makes your complexion come alive.

Hope you had a marvelous day -- even with the cleaning part! Blue/black and cognac/black are on my list to try this Autumn -- which in my case is about 6 months away (or 4, because I like is winter-heavy Chicago). Thanks for giving me an example!

Wow Deborah, I don't know that I've seen you in these boots before! Very tough on feminine you--I likey! What a great idea to pop a top over a dress. Why haven't I thought of that? You look beautiful in ink, and I love the bulky scarf. I've enjoyed watching your foray into color!

Mscooks, Shannon & Tanya, the ink blue is starting to become my black! I love it and can't believe I resisted blue for such a long time.

Angie, you are so kind:) Thanks for the compliment. I must admit I have noticed the softness of the blue against my skin tone. I nearly thrifted a navy coat on Tuesday!

Beth Ann, I could see you doing either the blue/black or the cognac/black but I think the cognac combo would be particularly fabulous on you.

Suz, Jayne & Anne, thanks. And Anne I do slop around at home after work, but I just can't bring myself to spend a day in track pants or the like.

Claire and Christieanne, I am a 'layerer' from way back lol. In the past 12 months at YLF I have started to streamline my outfits more, but I still love the look of layers.

Nicole, Kiwichik, & Vicki thanks...Master 9 does actually notice my clothes and freely tells me if he thinks I look good or not!

Aida, I was going to refer to the boots as 'Combat' but wasnt sure.

Jj, I love these boots! I didn't wear them much last winter but I think they are going to play alot this year. And McDonalds was packed as it was a holiday and let me tell you it was a very "unglamorous' place... boys had fun tho.
