WIW: No Jeans Day

I found a pair of cute grey chinos thrifting the other day and I felt like they would be great work pants. The hems are a slight bit worn, but I don't think it's terribly noticeable. I was originally going to wear them with a larger red t-shirt but something just didn't feel right. Then I tried this black top and I had a Eureka moment! The reason for the slightly awkward position on pic 2 is I'm trying to show the design on the side of the t-shirt.

Top - Lucky Brand

Shoes - Clarks
Messenger Bag - Fossil

They look like they fit well but I can't see the length very well. Are they PPL?
You could shorten and taper the worn bottoms to roll up a bit at the ankle.
A black top looks right with grey. I could see adding a statement necklace.

I was hoping it wasn't too noticeable, but y'all caught me. They are not PPL. I almost had a mini-meltdown this morning when I realized none of my non-demin pants are PPL. I guess it's time to start looking for some new pants. I feel like these can work for now (not perfectly, but can be functional) and when I find the right pair (or 2), these will be be shortened.

I had the same meltdown a while ago. Perhaps you can let some of the hems down? Otherwise, the fit looks perfect!
