Happy new year ladies! My outfits from yesterday involved some resolutions as well as trial and error.
Outfit 1: consignment dolce and gabbana suit, worn to church. I bought this suit months ago but had not yet worn it, so in keeping with New Years tradition of wearing " something new" that day and my resolution to finally defect to Team Wear-it-already, I popped it on shoes are fidji spectator pumps, blouse is a raspberry pink from unknown brand.
Second: my first attempt at winter white out for an afternoon visit to a friend. White Bermudas that I repurposed from some white wool pants I somehow never wore, jcrew cardigan, Steve Madden boots. I felt boxy in this so off it came.i tried with a white turtleneck and scoop neck long sleeve but none floated my boat.
Third: the eventual winner where I felt good. White Bermudas, orange cashmere sweater, blanket scarf( faux Zara via eBay) and boots. My husband kept making " oh she's going riding comments" but said he liked it
As an aside, I wanted to share an experience with you because it moved me so deeply. My apologies for posting links not associated with usual topics on this site or for sending you to my blog.
