Una, I love this outfit! The shoes look fantastic. I'm now thinking about how I can do this -- make a cardigan look modern and not frumpy. I haven't had success yet. The whole fluid thing escapes me, but it looks so easy for you!

Loafers ARE cool!

Una; the Borns are a tiny bit pinchy in a lot of places, and the left heel slips a bit so they will never be *10*s other than the perfect heel height. My Fly London Yala sandals pinch in about the same places but I'm keeping them as the leather seems to be super soft.

I bought a pair of $65 stompy TopShop sandals today ("Nation Cleat") when I returned that black Halogen twill vest that you also ordered, and those cheap sandals seem comfiest of all, albeit a bit hard on the sole. The white with black trim Kenneth Cole vest that Shannon likes was madly wildly flattering, but I'm not sure it's my (or your) style. I'm learning not to buy stuff just cuz it's flattering, at least not at full price. I will probably end up with the RD Style white pleather moto vest cuz that's more my style. . .
