WIW: New colour and puff sleeves

At last the temperature is increasing here on the Black Sea. First wearing of my new top and cardi.

As a Grownup Tomgirl I have never been into puff sleeves on me. Found this top in the thrift.store and decided to dip my toe in the trend. The pattern is hectic (maybe a bit Halloween LOL) and a completely new colour for me.

I often find long cardis can look frumpy on me. But I like the look of light weight ones and how they fly behind me when walking IYKWIM. Love this colour.

I have thrifted a number of summer items in rust and mango and will try show them as I wear them. I think they go well with my hair colour.

These colours do suit you really well and the puff sleeve top looks great on you, I'm surprised it fits so well under the cardigan, Usually I struggled getting toppers to work properly with puffier sleeves.

Star, you wear these puffed sleeves well! The gingery palette works well with your hair! I see Tomgirl in the bottoms - especially with the lower rise and your straighter hips. Sorted!

The cardi layers surprisingly well over the puffed sleeves, and YES to its elegant swoosh as you stride!

I just adore this top on you!! Puff sleeves are very becoming on you! And the cardi is great too! IKWYM with lightweight cardigans. Those are my favorite too; the drape and swish make them work well.

As you know, I love rusts, gingers, and such. So your color palette is fab to my eye on you! Looks great with your hair!

Fun puff sleeve top. I also enjoy the drama a long cardigan can bring. Mango and rust sound like excellent wardrobe colors to pair with your hair!

Angie Yes it is true, as long as one piece is more masculine the Grownup Tomgirl is still there :). The pants button is actually at my belly button, so not that low rise - not sure if it is the angle of the photo that makes them look low rise, but yes even with this rise the cargo pockets (which are not visible in the pic) and overall style makes them masculine. I thrifted them in Autumn and they have well over 30 wears, they very comfortable and don't crease easily so have become a favourite.
