I thought this was a comfy and cute casual Friday outfit. But it felt incomplete. Any thoughts on how to finish it off?

Simple and strong! If you feel like you need another element, a statement necklace or textured scarf could do the trick. Or possibly a cheeky jacket.

I think you look great, but I like Aida's ideas. I love to pattern mix my scarves with my stripes. If you're into that, you could add a scarf - something with cobalt and red or yellow would be fun. I also like to throw a jacket (blazer or denim jacket) over my stripes.

All of the suggestions above would be great. I know that when I do wear stripes I like to break them up with something. That said, you look wonderful. I like the white and black stripe paired with the cobalt colour on the bottom. Are they regular or coloured denim? It is a great shade!

I have a new pair of cobalt jeans and plan to wear them with stripes this week, so I love this! I think it's great on its own, and second the ideas of other posters. I also think you could layer a button down under this, perhaps with a slightly popped collar. Angie does this with sweaters a lot and it looks terrific.

Thanks everybody! I can't wait to try these suggestions. Tina, the pants are a cobalt twill with a bit of stretch. I love wearing them. I wish I had a polka dotted top to wear with them!
