You've made a fab color combination for your own coloring. I love how the sweater is yes, a statement, but the dark blue background cools things down and isn't "too much". Blue and orange are so great together.

We are floral sweater twins. While I can't wear much orange, I love mine with all denims. Last night I paired it with my dark, raisin red/aubergine colored waxed Kut straight legs and was very happy with the combo. The sweater is still on sale and a great weight for early fall. (Enabling all who Diana inspired.)

You know it's funny. This is obviously a very statement-y outfit, but I felt like the navy really grounded it just enough to be extremely wearable. In contrast, when I wore these pants in the pumpkin outfit, I really liked it but felt extremely visible. Like, everyone was looking at me. Which is fine but you have to be in the mood, you know? This outfit, while almost as bright, did not make me feel like all eyes were on me.

Aida, yes! Rust culottes! Sounds perfect. =D

Oooh! I've been waiting to see this sweater on non-Nordstrom bodies! I passed on it because I didn't love it on the site, but I was wondering if it looked better in person (I couldn't find it in-store).
