Wiw-my good bootcuts

Thank you for comments on my last WIW.I didn't want to bring it to front page again but your comments motivate me to go into my wardrobe and try various combinations and generally having fun.
Today I decided to put on my good bootcuts.I don't know if I am the only one with the concept of a fancy pair of jeans and a more casual one.
Be as it may I do think this ones fit better and after seeing some other thread I was reminded that pointy toe shoes work with bootcuts.
So this is my outfit for the day.As you might have noticed I remixed two of my blouses from the week during the weekend.
Comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome.

I like the dark wash - very nice on you!

You look tailored and dressed up casual so hopefully that was want you wanted to project.
Remixing from the week is a good idea for weekends - especially if you can wear twice before laundry (it's ecological too )

There is a high contrast between under blouse and jeans - for a different look, you might try a dark toned blouse under the jacket to create a longer line especially if wearing flats. I never really noticed that on myself but since i have been in flat shoes so much, now I notice i need visual length elsewhere. Just a thought!

I see a difference in the fit, too - I think the darker wash is more polished and the fit is more streamlined/not quite so loose on the thigh.

I really like the combination of the blouse and jacket together. Pretty colors on you.

Christieanne has a really interesting idea about creating low contrast between the top and bottom with a high contrast jacket - I've never thought of that myself but it makes sense. I'm eager to try this myself!

You're a lucky lady to wear beige as well as you do! Most of us on here live in mortal fear of Soul-Sucking Beige! Yet for you, it just enhances the creaminess of your complexion! WOW!

And an alternative to Christieanne's idea might be to tuck the blouse in, resulting in more jeans showing (provided you're comfortable with the waist/rise height of it) and thus again a longer leg line. You could, further, add toning shoes (navy? black?) to extend the legline even more. Just a thought in case you feel like playing a little more with proportions and colours.

I knew bootcuts weren't the enemy! It was just *those* bootcuts lol. I also have 'dressy' and casual jeans, so I get it. Looks great head to toe!

Great outfit! The blouse and jacket look really good together. The jeans look like they fit well. I completely understand the concept of 'good' vs. casual jeans.

It looks lovely and polished. It will also look great styled the way Christieanne suggested so it's just whatever you want to do that day. I like it a lot and you do look very nice in the soul-sucker!
