Minimal colour, maximal texture, looks great.
Gorgeous however you slice it!

But yes, I would say maximal minimal is right. The navy makes it feel more minimal so you can add the accessories without looking maximal.
I LOVE this look K!
A navy shirt like yours is on my list- last one has worn out due to the poor quality
It must be the all navy base that allows the bright accessories to look so fab and not OTT. in any way.
Maximal? Minimal? who cares what you call it when it looks this good
Love the total look and especially THOSE SHOES!

I took your lead and ordered the Geox. LOVE THEM but they are a tad too big and they do not make a 5.5 size. I'm heartbroken. Trying to decide if I want to keep and add an insole, but then I lose the breathability factor of their soles, right? Argh. Decisions decisions.
Minimal Colour takes it out of Maximal Territory!

KILLER
Angie! I hadn't expected you to weigh in. Very nice surprise, especially the killer rating. Thank you! You are such a dear!

Okay, now that I won't be suddenly bumping yesterday's thread:

Kristin, so sad about the sizing on the Geox. :/ Frustrating! Have you ever tried something like this? I use them when I need a minor adjustment because a shoe is too big in one size and too small in the other. I either put them in the heel or just under the tongue area (above my toes, but below the edge of the shoe). They take up just enough space to make those almost-right shoes work and the suede is very comfortable.

ETA: These pedag ones? Seriously? They are the best, aren't they. I love them. I stocked up when I found them at my local shoe repair store. Love them.
K, I have a whole drawer of them, since I'm between 5.5 and 6.

Let me try it and see. For the price, I kinda want the shoes to fit perfectly right off the bat, but I love them enough to try. Will report back! Thanks!
Agree with camp whatever you call it, you look fantastic! And I want to steal your shoes!
So, I have to fess up. The shoes are super duper cheapies from the Nordstrom Rack. I love them too! Unfortunately, they aren't very comfortable. They were a great way for me to put my toes in the water, though. And who knew I would love metallic shoes like this?!? I'm keeping my eyes open for a better pair to upgrade to. Nice to know that the forum shares the love!
I like this combination of navy with aqua. Definately to be repeated.
