Ahaha! I remembered to show up for my haircut. I don't have a pic of that (yet). Be-cause, my hipster stylist styled me up, like it was prom. You peeps will be all, I hope you didn't pay for that.
Got some shoes. The shopgirl says Jeffrey Campbell did some shoe just for them (the Convert store), but I couldn't tell what shoe she was talking about. She also kept talking to me about "us big feet girls," and was a real hard-seller. She got me to take home some Tom's espadrille booties. I'm afraid their cuteness overrode my snittiness about Tom's (he's so Bofu Botswana).
I almost got the platform gladiators (#5), but didn't because of lack of occasions for wearing them. They were super comfy tho.
The Jeffrey Cambell's are awfully black and RATE. I feel terribly terribly '80s in them, and headed for a hot tub, and about to cue up some Linda Ronstadt. Shopgirl said I could totally wear them to the office. Not clear to me she's ever been in an office...
Oh and shopgirl said the black sandals were so good for Europe, if I ever travel like that. Um, is it just me, or was that a weird comment? However, my take-home from that was that you could do a lot of walking in them, which is kinda why I went with them instead of the gladiators.
