I’m still around - it’s just hard for me to summon the energy for anything beyond work and decompressing from work. I do lurk and sometimes comment!

I’ve also been planning a very cautious trip to Greece next month, and trying to find cutie quick-dry clothes so I can pack very light. I can post about that closer to the time. I don’t really need those clothes, mind you. But I will use them at home and I’ve needed a planning project to combat the covid doldrums.

Anyway! Here are some recent outfits including some new items. I think I’m wearing my house shoes in most of these, so they’re not very styled on that front.

1. ON romper. This is one of my new quick dry items, but the fabric is nice and drapey. It’s definitely going to Greece as I think I can dress it up a bit. It’s really much too long in the torso, which I am combating for now by wearing a bralette that provides coverage. I may have it altered at Nordy’s, but that’s a bit of a nuisance until I return to the office part time (maybe in October). I don’t have a neighborhood tailor I would trust for that kind of work yet-my new area has very few options along those lines. I’ll have it done eventually.

2 and 3 are attempts to wear orphan Boden skirts. These skirts won’t work right now with tucked tops or when I am bloated (something I suffer from, but I am working kn my core to fix my hip, which may help some). But I like these iterations, which feel right for the 90-degree heat we have had this week.

4. New Madewell dress. It makes a nice change from the higher contrast items I usually favor. It would be great for office if I were going back in September, but alas. (I won’t go to the office on either side of my Greece trip, out of caution.)

5 and 6 - both are colors of Madewell track pants. I also have black ones and love them so much that I duplicated. The light color is closer to tan than I’ve ever worn before, as I have a poison eye for khaki. These are just light enough to be okay for me. I love these pants so much. They also also future office items, as a lot of my pre-pandemic pants just feel too unforgiving now.

7 Boden dress. A little daring in the cleavage for a work day, but no one from work could see me anyway. My husband approved though!

8 New malachite necklace I purchased from an artisan in Michigan.

9. Boden dress that I’ve had for a few years. Still a favorite.

Thanks for looking!
