With the world in such a state of upheaval, and trying to manage my mindset and grow my understanding, style has been both a welcome escape and a low priority. I’ve been trying to keep it casual, comfortable and minimal.
I’m thinking of edging it up a a bit more in the fall, but in summer, Easy is the name of the game.
1. BR black tank top, ancient Club Monaco skirt that I keep meaning to get rid of but I’d just so darn useful.
2. Lululemon On The Flounce skirt which looks flat and dumpy and wrinkled here but is really very flowy, lightweight and cut like a dream. Wearing with a thrifted head scarf and cardigan.
3. For Eid, we decided to dress up and make it Feel festive. This is a great summer shalwar kameez. The pants are a heavier raw silk, but the top and scarf (called a dupatta) are of a lightweight chiffon silk. The print is a traditional Indian one called Bandni that I love
