Suggestions for improvement welcome!

#5 doesn't work - a failed attempt to dress up a casual summer dress. It was for a party for which I really needed a sexy black dress and shoes I could dance in. I do not own that kind of dress, and haven't needed one for years ....

I like all these! #5 looks fine to me - I like the obi belt and boots with the dress. I especialy like both outfits with the scarves.

Love your casual looks, these are go to silhouettes for you definitely. That is a great scarf! The dress actually looks really good, the shape is lovely on you. Of course I cannot see the fabrication given that it is black, and I know that it is tough to make a casual dress feel right for a dressy event. You will have to add a sexy cocktail dress and dancing shoes to your wish list. It would look great on you!

2, 3, and 4 are my faves. I love the bookending of boots and lipstick in 2, the colors in 3 and the pattern mixing and silhouette in 4. Terrific week!

Beautiful fits, wonderful marriages of color, simple lines with just the right amount of detail in the accessories! You are consistently and utterly fab here!

#5 looks great in the pic. Possibly the fabric is too casual to work closeup? It's more important than ever to feel fab at special events, of course, so happiness factor is key. I guess it's a reminder of Angie's suggestions to replenish special occasion capsules before the items are needed. Hm.......better go check that out!

You had a great week. My favorite is 4, followed by 2. The dress in 5 looks like it fits very well and could be worn different ways. You wear fit-n-flare well.

Great casual outfits! I think the dress in 5 was a success. I like the waist definition and the pairing with boots. It may not be sexy but it looks fab! Love 2,3, and 4. You look great with color and/or contrast. To me, the first outfit is nice but lacks the visual interest of the others. Looking good, CF!

To my eye the dress in #5 only looks off because of your totally covered legs and bare arms... The dress looks great on you!

These are all really nice but I think I like 2,3 and 4 best because of the lighter colors near your face. If I'm remembering the right person, is the jacket in 3 the one from your friend?

Great outfits! I like #2 and #3 especially and would not say the dress is a failure - but maybe short booties would work better with bare arms?

I like all these looks. I on't think 5 is a fail but maybe needs a cover up or the bare arms as seems like too much of a contrast with boots. Or sheer hose with pumps.
