WIW: jean jacket (for Carla)

There was so much love for jeans jackets today on the forum that I thought I might as well post my outfit, which included one, worn with black-on-black tonight to dinner w/ friends.

This one I've had for a few years, but my first was similar, maybe a little stretchier and a little more cropped, and purchased in Madrid from the store Stratavarius while I was doing study abroad in college!

Jean jacket: Madewell
Tee: Cuyana
Crop flare jeans: Paige
Sandals: Birkenstocks
Bag: Michael Kors

While I adore coats and sweater weather, which is around the corner, I do love pulling out my denim jacket every summer. It is a very season-specific garment for me.

I wonder if anyone here does a winter jean jacket. Maybe with shearling? (Though that is a very particular look!)

I have owned a denim jacket since I was in my mid twenties (so 30 years!). I've taken it to every place I've ever travelled, including my recent trip to Spain. It was a Godsend on the one chilly day we had.

I'm a fan of wearing denim jackets with everything from dressy to casual.
