So... the mudflats are the things where the tide comes in really fast and people can drown, right? (Someone my husband knows drowned in one a couple of years ago.) I didn't know you could walk out on them when they are frozen!

In any case, I've always wanted to visit Alaska in the summertime (and really regret not going the summer J. was there for 8 weeks) but now I'm wondering if maybe there are reasons to go in other seasons too!
