I wanted to dress this turtneck and jacket with bootcut jeans but last minute decided to be bold and changed to skinnies and oxfords.
I spent the day changing my mind about loving it or not lloving it.
You are the ones who can solve this conumdrum.
(excuse the crazy hair, it wad repaired after the pic)
What are your feelings on this one?

Well, love it or love it not, I love your subject header!

So...I am wondering what's not to love? The jacket shows off your waist and is a rich colour.

Do you feel the slight flare of the bootcuts would balance the look a bit more? I am not sure what to say because I think the camera angle has you a bit foreshortened. Which makes it a bit difficult to judge.

The skinnies look good. Take the following with a grain of salt since I'm still figuring things out myself:

I feel the oxfords jump out at me because they are the lightest thing in the outfit. Your top half and skinnies are dark and your bag is medium. I feel like I want at least one other light colored thing in there.

I almost love it but I would try it with darker jeans. I really like the top half, your bag and the shoes, but the color of the jeans I would like to change. Great silhouette!

Celia, I think it is a nice look. What may be throwing you off is the angle of your picture: it makes you legs look shorter than they are IRL. Can you take a picture with a better angle?

I think it looks really nice. I'd have to see the same outfit with the bootcuts and whatever shoes you would have worn with them to see if one is more flattering than the other. If this is a new look for you, maybe you just need to get used to seeing yourself in it.

Sylvie mentioned precisely what bothered me,the bottom part seems altogether much lighter than the top part, although the turtneck has some light stripes.
Maybe as Scarlet says some darker jeans would be better.
Claire for sure bootcuts would balance it out better and that was why I thought first of that but then I was feeling like dressing same old,same old and decided to have a bit more fun.

I like the look Celia. I would also love to see it with darker denim bootleg jeans and heels (not necessarily high). I think this would create a lovely balance to the shape of the jacket.
