just doing the best I can in this heatwave-
The old midi skirt is linen. seldom worn, but is fine for hot weather. It has been living in the closet a long time. Last time I wore it was with black top and black flat sandals to a funeral with grave side service on a very hot day. Today it came out paired with the chambray shirt for a bridge class. Lots of ladies in bridge are old too so not any shorts and a few maxi skirts, mostly capris, so I felt I looked OK. These sandals are my first pair of caged sandals, and this is the last time I wear them. They used to be great, but I guess my feet are changing too. I came home with a sore pinky toe.
#2--not best for very casual out to lunch in this heat. Love this linen top, but it seems not to like me much, as it feels much better than it looks.
Not my best dressing, can't stand necklaces or such in the heat.
