Thank you, all!
@Susan: You lucked out. It was pretty hot here but was kind of a welcome relief from all of the rain and wind we’ve had this winter.
@Cee: I think most people feel the same as you. I guess being in an AC office all day makes it more tolerable for me.
@Bijou: Thank you! I do love separates
@Cardiff girl: Thank you!
@rachylou: haha. Thanks. I think the 100% cotton and the loose fit helps. I don’t like the feeling of my legs sticking together in dresses/skirts when it’s hot. Pants solve that problem. LOL.
@Toban: Thank you. I had a dr.s appt when I wore the cropped pants outfit in 3. The assistant was oohing and ahhing over the outfit--saying that she had a couple of pairs of cropped pants but couldn’t figure out why they didn’t work on her. We did a quick analysis and she said she can’t wait to try out the solution--she’s going to shorten them and try them with fitted ankle booties or sandals. YLF to the rescue.
@pil: Thank you!
@column: Thanks! That dress came with a self belt but this one works much better. The loops were too high and it was finicky.
@ChristelJ: Lol. My husband used to do the same thing. He’s a golfer and just doesn’t get the semi-tuck. You’re either in or out--that’s what he says.
@kkards: haha. Thanks, style twin!
@Janet: Thank you. The dress is super old--Caslon. When high low first came out. It feels more wearable now than when I first got it. I think it took awhile for me to adjust to that hemline.
@Kyle: So great to “see” you. Thanks!
@karen: Thank you. Definitely give them a try. They seem super relevant for your climate. Have fun at graduation!
@Angie: Thank you!
@Jaileen: haha. Thanks. Dresses get their turn but there is something about being in pants that makes me feel bossy.
