Oh, this is fantastic! I didn't comment on your other thread, wanted to check it out when I had more time, but then forgot :). Great to see it all now.

You are making me think some citron has to come into my closet this year - not a colour I've ever really considered, but so many fabbers have made it look so good!!

And you are brave for all the white pants. Let us know how that goes

Thanks again for your very kind words ladies! Only have a few minutes to respond - but had to chime in to ND mom - too funny! Yes I wonder about that all the time - whether to stick the arm under the hair bits or leave it over top!!
My hair stylist says it shoud go under - but I disagree. I generally go with under on the left side (where the bangs sweep over to) and over the right ( origin of the sweep). Who knew it could be soo complicated

You look just darling!

When I travel, sometimes I am great about shopping, and sometimes I am absolutely a bad little shopping elf. I find if I plan carefully, and work in some fun or dressy pieces, I am less inclined to make impulse buys while travelling.

A couple of years ago, I read a post from a style blogger who would buy and pack a bright new top and scarf that fit her style and color specs, before travelling. She said it gave her the same rush of having something new to wear, without making impulsive or emotional purchased while travelling. I wish I could remember the blog. She referred herself to a nerd or geek, and is an engineer. Anyone know which blog I am thinking of?

Oh, wow, merwoman! I missed your first post and just went back to catch up. Terrific travel capsule! I'm going to favorite both of these threads, so that I can refer back to them. You look great in all your outfits - attractive, sharp, and also comfortable. I also like seeing how you pared it down at the end. Brava! I love your new 'do as well. Have a great time!

More great travel advice - thank you ladies! Sounds like a great blog LBD - I remember a blog targeted for engineers in the kitchen. Very methodical and precise!

Beth - the packing is a bit like 'it ain't over till it's over' - and then there's always something that can be removed. I'm keeping my eye on the weather... Glad the travel posts are useful - I know I will be referring back to them so I can remember how I combined things

Merwoman....I just popped by into your thread and read your response to our glasses conundrum. Ha Ha.... Just so you know, I follow your technique!
