Are you familiar with freestyle fashionista Mike Spookshow of His Black Dress? His style and body shape are very different from yours, but he's written some very thoughtful essays about his philosophy. He's also an expert on hose.

By the way, I'm a Brit too (although I left years ago) and I see we share the same birthday. This is a great place to share ideas and inspiration and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your style.
