Yes, I'm definitely going to the doctor tomorrow. Even if it is just a virus, they probably need to know how bad it is. And it's true I am always at higher risk of pneumonia after my early experiences. I'm also now thinking "sinus infection" more and more. Sigh...

Thanks for the sympathy and virtual chicken soup. I clearly need it!!

OMG you are so adorable even when you're sick! Love the cozy outfit. I refer to this kind of situation as "putting on my softpants" and now my husband has started saying it too!

I hope the doc visit tomorrow brings you some answers and relief -- get well soon!

Fun outfits! I guess I missed Elizabeth's request, because I, too, thought of teasing you and daring you to wear the two pieces together. I'm another who is reminded of PJs with the head-to-toe toile. Looks sooo comfy. I do like your sporty luxe rendition. Feel better soon. I mean, really soon now! (Enough already, right?? It's so awful being sick.)

Feel better soon. Lovely toile outfits you are a super trooper - I don't even look this pulled together on a normal day much less 2 weeks into an illness.

Tea, cakes and hugs from me, too! Sorry you're feelin' so bad(but assure you, still looking freaking good in your great toile outfit!!!:-)). This kind of flu happens to me each year for a matter, we don't like going to docs, either...I know itz's bad, so sending more simpathy!

You look great in your sweats outfits! I updated my lounge wear capsule last year but it's still not as cute and current as yours. I hope you feel better soon. I'm like you and never go to the doctor although I have no problems dragging my kids in if they're sick for longer than 2-3 days.

Toile sweatpants! Who could resist? And just the thing when you're feeling lousy. Suz, as one who used to spend most of every February & March coughing with post-viral bronchitis, I can tell you what I learned: at the first symptoms of a cold or flu, stop eating & drinking ALL dairy products for a week or two. There's something about those milk proteins that seems to irritate and promote post-nasal drip. Stick with clear drinks & soups, etc. This has entirely eliminated those endless weeks of coughing post flu for me. Wishing you comfort and a quick recovery.

Sending you healing vibes, the flu stinks. But fun printed sweatpants and sweatshirt.

I am so sorry you are so sick! But who else on earth can look so cute when they are so ill? Really!!! NO FAIR.

Plus, now I want that sweatshirt. Is it nice enough to wear out? Over a button-down? It's super cheap right now. When you're feeling better, let me know.

So glad to be back on YLF and to see your loveliness. Of course, you're driving me right to the JCrew site.

You poor baby! Wish I could send you some tissues and organic broth to make you feel better, no matter how great you look in sickness-mode. btw, did you ever get a flu shot? Just curious and doing personal research.

Hope the toile distracts you from any aches and pains and keeps you happy. You look better than anyone I know who is sick. Feel better soon, Suz, please.

Viva, thanks -- I PM'd you.

Vicki, normally I do get a flu shot. But I hadn't had a chance to get jabbed yet this year.

This isn't the flu, though. I suspect is it the enterovirus. Symptoms sound similar -- starts like a regular cold and then weirdly gets worse instead of better.

Still sick -- and the doctor confirmed virus today, so they can't offer any treatment. Just rest and fluids.

Oh Suz! At least it is not pneumonia. You should stay in bed for a week at least and do not work - let the rest heal you. You also need some boost for your immune system - apparently it needs some help in fighting the virus. Get tea tree oil and breath it in during the day, it really helps.

Ah, thank you, Sveta.

The question is -- does online shopping count as "rest" or as "work."

On line shopping is therapeutic. I hope you feel better soon. Rest as much as you can.

ETA I love the 2 pieces together.

You look better sick, than most of us do healthy and dolled up. And I do appreciate the real-real outfit! Feel better soon, and thank you so much for your astute and kind contributions to all of our threads.
