Taking a cue from two of Angie's recent blog posts/ensembles, I assembled an outfit around an old pair of trouser jeans in the dark red/ light blue color palette. I used one of my recent light blue Loft shirts as a layer to get the collar and cuff contrast to the aubergine NAS cashmere zip side sweater. Added a black belt to match my black pointy toed booties, a camel coat, aubergine bag and blue scarf. The bag is also old; a wardrobe orphan that I've been trying to sell on Poshmark but decided to try in this ensemble. I love wine/aubergine/plum/dark purple etc., but felt much happier having the light blue to break up the dark.

Uh, yeah, I still have Seahawks' nails...tonight is the night to change my polish, which will probably be to a wine color now that I've already worn the outfit
