Wiw: first spring outfit inspired by Isabel Marant

Hi. Like Van Dies today, spring is calling me. So I have packed out a skirt as my first base for spring. I paired it with my new Zara ethnic blouse inspired by this photo ad by Isabel Marant. I admit I should have tucked my shirt in better before my photo.

I was meeting my BF for coffee this morning before work. What a great start to my day!

Yay - we are skirt twins! My skirt is now sans ties, but I love those a lot more on you than me. Great outfit, Jayne. The blouse is fine as is, in my opinion. I envy you your fab start of a grey Wednesday.

too funny Ingunn, that you have the same skirt. I need the ties to keep it up. it is a little too big since I lost weight. I will move the fasteners once I finish losing weight. I do think the ties get in the way sometimes.

Oh it's very spring calling and a smashing interpretation. I wonder what it's like in Norway a lot especially since the social policies are more forward than our own in the states. I love seeing the interpretations of looks from all the Norwegians, mainly because of the stores and items you get are so different than the ones I have access to.

Thanks for all the compliments on the hair. It was a big jump for me so I need all the boosts!

AJ - the skirt is suede leather. I am so happy I found a spring way to wear it, it gets orphaned alot.

I am glad many will join into the spring fling....but I do expect more snow or at least cold before true spring comes here. I have lived here too long when I thought 4 degrees C balmy!
