As I mentioned in the comments to the blog post this morning, I don't actually own a real kimono, so I decided to fake one by wearing my sheer cherry blossom blouse unbuttoned. It's a very loose, square shape with wide sleeves (with an elastic cuff) so I think it actually works quite well as a kimono. I paired it with my distressed, pale blue BF jeans and metallic sandals. The orange tank was inspired by the Snack of the Day, Cheetos. And I was kind of surprised at how well the teal tote (by my feet) went with this - I was too lazy to switch my bag out this morning so I just thought I'd go with it. Must remember the teal/orange/blush combo for later.

Do you prefer this with the "kimono" more closed (as in #1) or open (#2)?

(H&M blouse worn open, Halogen tank, Current Elliott BF jeans, Naot sandals, and MZ Wallace tote).
