I haven't been stressing a lot over what to wear recently, figuring I get a free pass for a while. And somehow, I've been pretty happy when I look at the photos I've snapped. With a couple of key, new-ish pieces, it's been easy to pull together casual outfits that are well-suited to my life.
Here are two from last week:
#1 - Eddie Bauer olive twill joggers, striped tee, Chuck Taylors. This was the last outing for my faithful Chucks, as the sole has separated from the upper. I've replaced them with some new classic Pumas (see Finds), but I'll probably pick up another pair of Converse in a fun color/pattern when I happen upon some.
#2 Target bf jeans with printed LOFT blouse, Boden merino/silk sweater and ballet flats. Worn for a casual b-day dinner for my mother-in-law.
#3 Close-up of the turquoise and silver ring I'm wearing in #2. I've been looking for some great statement rings recently, and this one belonged to my mom. The strips of turquoise are a really unique design, and I think I'll enjoy wearing it for quite a while
