@slimcat: Thank you! I guess I should thank covid and a few extra lbs. to make the denim skirt fit! Glad the Boden floral looks classic--I loved it when I bought it but have only worn it a half dozen or so times. It’s back on the nice list now--for whatever reason.

@Denise: Squee! Thanks for chiming in. It’s great to hear from you. I think halter styles are the most flattering on my shoulder line so when I see a good one, I have a hard time resisting. I have enough now though...haha.
@AJ: Thank you! The gingham dress is JCrew from one of their many sales this summer. It’s size small and pretty ample. I don’t think I could have sized down in the shoulders--FWIW. I do wear a strapless bra for spaghetti straps and certain racer styles. I found a Maidenform one (Target) that really stays in place--I’ve always struggled with them TBH. You would think anything would hold 34A in place...I forget it’s on most of the time.
@Bijou: Thank you and glad you can relate to my Boden realization. It suits so many and looks so good in the catalog--it just doesn’t always translate to me. Kind of like my experience with Free People.

@Janet: Thank you! I think this summer is your shorts summer. I really like the ones that you posted and you look fab in them. TBH, I do prefer shorts on the weekends--they’re just so much cooler and easier to wear when you’re mucking about the garden and grocery store, etc.
