This past weekend I had a couple of opportunities to dress up a bit for different events.
Friday was our 5th anniversary, and we went out for a fancy dinner to celebrate. I wore my Nanette Lepore LBD with dressy black booties and my floral Kate Spade tote (I came from work so had to lug around my laptop as well as a change of clothes, hence the big tote). It's hard to see details in these photos, but the dress has lace insets at the shoulders and waist, and lace godets at the bottom hem. I feel like it's photographing more casual here than it actually is. The ring is actually my "something blue" that I wore at my actual wedding 5 years ago!
The other outfit was for Mother's Day brunch (with my MIL). This is a very old Anthro dress, paired with the same booties as the first outfit and turquoise Milly clutch. It was cold so I put on hose for the first time in a while - I'd forgotten how nice these sheer polka dot hose look!
