Super busy at work this week so I've not been able to participate much in the awesome conversations going on here. Hopefully I can carve out some time this weekend to catch up.
On a side note, am uber excited because my Rag & Bone miramar pajama jeans arrived yesterday (sqeeee!) so will probably wear them today.
Yesterday's outfit was one of those outfits that from the front was all kinds of basic --the party was going on in back. I let the embroidered back on the jacket take center stage and paired it with blue suede shoes, which complemented the blue in the jacket embroidery and the faded denim of the slouchy BF jeans.
It was a win for comfort and casual style in my book.
Cabbie hat: Goorin Bros. (via Zappos)
v-neck t-shirt: Aeropostale
BF jeans: Levis (via ebay for a whopping $5.00)
Black denim jacket with embroidered back: H&M (part of their 2014 Spring collection bagged on sale with a coupon)
Blue suede oxford shoes: Born Mott --they win the prize for comfort. I actually walked home a mile and half yesterday wearing these and my feet were happy the whole way (via Zappos)
Sunnies: Matsuda (via designer consignment)
Bag: DVF Stephanie (via Nordie's)
Earrings: Sterling, Apatite and black diamond snakes (via MaxandChloe.com)
Square sterling bangle bracelet: vintage (can't remember where I got it I've owned it so long)
Square sterling ring with star sapphire: The star sapphire was brought back from overseas by my grandfather. I inherited it and had it set in a custom designed ring
Square sterling and glass ring: Vintage modernist c.1960's - can't remember the designer based on the mark I looked up to date it --but it only cost $15 (via last month's Long Beach flea market)
Sterling floral bracelet: vintage c.1940's (via yard sale years ago)
