Hello YLFers,
I have two denim vests in my closet which have been orphans. One is faded and the other is white. I have a feminine, classic style but have been aiming to add the word "current" to my style descriptors. I tried this vest with loose BF jeans but that just didn't feel like me.
I then tried the vest over a black summer dress. This dress has seen better days and isn't the most flattering dress but it is cool and airy and great for nursing so I think I will keep it around for this summer.
I tried it first with the black gladiator sandals. I love these sandals since they are comfy and a bit glamorous with all the shiny metal. Actually, they are a lotta shoe but I am going to keep them since comfortable black shoes always get worn in my wardrobe. I do think the strap cuts the leg line but I think I can live with it. These won't be going with me to work for now.
The next pair of shoes are super comfortable and I think I will get a lot of wear out of them.
I had sworn off sandals because the straps would cut into my feet and I didn't like the time consuming process of buckling them up. I am getting better about choosing ones with comfortable straps and these both have back zippers so I think I am going to try sandals for this summer.
The last picture is what I actually wore today. I wanted to think over the shoe purchases for one more day before making them unreturnable.
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Oops, the picture sequence got messed up in uploading. The first is what I actually worn and the other two are the new sandals.
