WIW: De-bombshelling shorts (and bombshelling them all over again)

Hey guys,

These grey shorts are really short, but I never really considered them bombshell material due their baggyness and their material (viscose). I usually wear them with white tops - from sweaters to sleeveless, but never bf with a button-down. Following Angie's post on de-bombshelling shorts and their pic examples with button-downs, I thought I would try the combo.

What do you think? It's 22 degrees and the sun is still shining, though, timidly. Since I will be outdoors until 8:30pm, I am taking a jacket with me... and a bombshell (!) pashmina. Hehehe... Guess I did miss the de-bombshelling point the minute I added a leopard print to the oufit. (But I love this leopard print with grey!)

Ah, shoes are gold bailarinas. (You can see them on the floor near the mirror)

UPDATE: Following your compliments, I decided to use a variation of the same outfit today (I'm meeting different people and going to different places, so it's not really an issue to repeat the outfit) . My first pink item EVER came out to play with a trusted snake-print bag.

Sorry Suz! This time, I'm wearing pumps; I will need some dressing up for later on (a coffee meeting with a faculty peer)

Temperature: 22 Celsius and sunshine!.

Beautiful! I don't think the pashmina or jacket takes these over the top, or maybe I should say it does take it over the top in fabulousness, but not over-bombshell! Great outfit!

Terrific look! The neutral makes for an understated look, as does pairing with flats. The pashmina has a little glamour, to go with the metallic in the shoes, but I think the overall effect is quite chic and ladylike, and very flattering. Brava!

This is a great look both ways! And I don't think it's bombshell. Subtly sexy but not overtly. Your legs are great but the neutrals are calming, LOL. And flat shoes always debombshell shorts, to my eye. I much prefer the look of flats or wedges with shorter shorts -- just a personal quirk of mine. And I think you look superb in this outfit!

Thanks for all the comments and compliments, gals! The leopard print is a total new to me; well, I bought it on a whimp at a street market a few months ago, having never worn animal print and not exactly being a print type (the prints I have are few and subtle: polka dots or two shades of the same colour in tiny, tiny patterns)... But all for evolving fashion style, right?

Since I bought this scarf, it became one of the most worn items ever and I barely can sport grey (hv lots of it) without throwing this scarf somehow together.
