Sally, the dress is silk--a beautiful, heavyweight, hard-working, washable silk!
chewyspaghetti and Aquamarine, it's been a long time!
Minaminu, I had only seen the show on Disney+ previously, so it was fun to see it with an appreciative, live audience, and a quite different experience!
Stagiaire Fash, I quite like being the parent of an adult, when it comes down to it!
Janet, I wore a KN-95 in the theater. It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but also not the worst, and I don't think it detracted from my enjoyment of the show. The ushers were really vigilant about making sure everyone in the audience stayed masked for the entire performance and they checked vaccine records at the door when we entered.
kkards, I'm so happy to have such a versatile dress in my wardrobe. Other attempts at the LBD haven't been as effective for me, so it really is a matter of finding the right one!
Tanya, I'm very happy he was willing to have a parent tag along!
lisap, I wonder if the "always looking like me" comes mostly from wearing the same things over and over. I looked on the Find for this dress and I've mentioned it in 33 conversations!
CarolS, it really felt like the most "Los Angeles" thing I've done since moving here, even if the city isn't exactly synonymous with live theater. Andrew Lloyd Weber's star was, appropriately, on the sidewalk outside.
slim cat, I tend to rotate through about 4 necklaces of varying lengths and ignore the rest of my jewelry. This is one of them!
