WIW, day 3 of the sleeveless challenge

I realize that taking pictures of your daily outfits is NOT a waste of time. I thought the first outfit I had on today was just great until I saw pictures, remind me not to stay away from YLF too long! Anyway, this is my second attempt and although this isn't extra fab it's way better than the first.

Gap grey sleeveless bow top
Burgundy flares
Sam Edelmann animal print ballet flats
black hip slung belt
gold and silver BF watch and animal print bangles

Taking them and then looking at them cropped and big on the computer monitor... I thought I was well-dressed yesterday till I saw the pics too. At the end of the day, unfortunately. I did NOT post a WIW...

Your second attempt is more than respectable. Muted, but tasteful.

You are on a roll with colour combos, Carole, I just love this shade of grey with the burgundy. And your accessories and animal print flats look great with this outfit.

LOL about the daily pics being an eye opener! I had an eye opening moment this morning as well! Love the grey blue with the burgundy--you look ever so stylish! We are getting spolled with your WIW's--I love seeing your fab casual style!

I really like your combination of colors too. I had a not so fab start too. Took pics of my outfits and went with #2. Halfway through the morning, I realized that attempt #2 was worse ah well, live and learn.

I think this looks elegant and cool all at once. Love the colors and the judicious use of accessories and bag. And your arms look great!

Wait? What is wrong with this? The colors are sublime with your coloring. The pants are perfection and so on trend! The shoes are just right understated statement. Your arms look amazing. The only tweak I might suggest is a wider belt, or no belt at all.

Pics are helpful but they don't always tell the whole story. That is why I pose so silly in my own. Motion is everything. I may look fine when I stand just so with hand on waist and hip jutted out, etc, etc, etc... you know the drill. But motion is how people actually see us. So get silly, MOVE, take lots of shots, SMILE!

I like the burgundy and blue-grey pairing in this outfit. The top looks great on you and I like it with the belt. I just bought (and posted) a pair of burgundy skinny jeans and I've been looking for ideas of what to wear them with. I really like this color combo.
