What goes into watermelon soup that makes it not watermelon color? Do they toss out the watermelon flesh, or boil it down/smash it?
I've made pumpkin tureen stew, cooked in a pumpkin. It didn't need Saran wrap or anything to hold it together. And I can't imagine having plastic wrap on there during the steaming--wouldn't it melt? I'm not sure how closely related pumpkins and watermelons are though.

My son has been teaching me about pro ball for the past year, so I didn't those nights were a thing.
