Here are some of my January WIWs with chunky sweaters. The first sweater is the YLF Gap sweater, and the second, oxblood one is one of those unexpected shopping delights (H&M clearance for $10 - all natural materials). The taupe and baby blue ones were hand knit by my mom a couple of years ago and were mostly sitting unworn in my closet, so I decided to bring them out as the chunky knitwear seemed to be trending. In #3 you can also see my new SE Petty boots, but mine are "Snow Leopard" pattern. I love them, but sadly they are a bit too much for work, so I only wear them outside of the lab.
1. Cream sweater* - Gap, wine skinny bootcut jeans - Rich&Skinny, tan studded belt - Gap, tan suede booties - Aerosoles
2. Oxblood sweater* - H&M, black/grey skinny microcheck pants - Armani Exchange, black booties- Aerosoles
3. Taupe sweater - mom, cream skinnies - 7FAMK, Snow Leopard Petty booties- Sam Edelman
4. Baby blue sweater - mom, off white super wine cord skinnies* - Gap, taupe booties - Report
I have included the close-ups for the booties for leopard fans and of mom's sweaters for the knitters. I wish I had a baby blue leather jacket to add to #4, inspired by Angie's fab outfit today.
