WIW: Casual Friday / Busy Busy

Hi Lovlies,

Hosted a surprise baby shower this morning, lunching with DH now and welcoming visitors for the weekend later this afternoon...phew!

Woke up this morning wanting to wear my navy and white polka dot blouse and here's what I put together

Bootleg Jeans - Target
Navy & Whit Polka Dot Blouse - Mix
Ink Blue Sweater Top - ?
Vintage Yellow Loafers (I love these)

And multi strand pearl necklace for good measure:)

Beth Anne thanks! I felt good in this. It's kind of slouchy and relaxed but I still feel a little polished.

AJ thanks for looking! I'm really enjoying the blue tones at the moment.

Kiwichik, it's been a busy one and I talked DH into going out for dinner as I'm too tired to cook (spoken in a dramatic tone) lol

I had some lovely compliments on my yellow shoes today, I am so pleased I bought them. I put my purple coat on tonight to go out for dinner and I think the purple and yellow together look quite fun:)

The navy and white is so good with the yellow! And the geometric lines those necklines and hemlines are making, have a beautiful effect. Sounds like a full-on day!

This is basically a volume on volume look and it works extremely well because the asymmetrical lines of the sweater mitigate the usual boxiness of big on big.

Yellow POC provided by the shoes is perfect.
